Traditional music from Scotland
The drops of brandy left over at the end of the party were the traditional pay for the piper. An old tune by that name is
well known in both the Scottish and Irish traditions. Taking their name from this tune, Betsy Hooper and David Pickens would
rather start the party. With Betsy on the fiddle and Scottish Smallpipes, and David on Guitar and vocals they explore the
range of the Scottish musical repertoire - from songs and ballads to toe-tapping reels and heart rending slow airs.
